
ABOUT RAJ FOUNDATION
Located at New Baneswor, Kathmandu, Raj Foundation is entirely non-profit, non government organization established in 2070 B.S. with a mandate to provide more effectively the social and community services thus serving the nation for the establishment of civilized and moral society ; to serve persons and to develop new programs that serve the needs of the community. The organization is registered to District Administration Office, Kathmandu with the registration number of 386/070/071 and PAN number of 602926812. The organization is also registered with the Social Welfare Council under the registration number of 41434.
The main aim of the organization is to provide the social services and community services. The foundation’s community service is based on the purpose of helping or bringing benefits to community and social services aim to safeguard social cohesion and social solidarity; to provide social protection, achieve social inclusion and promote equal opportunities for all citizens to combat poverty and social exclusion and to promote the interests of individuals, families, and communities
Since its inception in 2070, Mission Raj Foundation has maintained a focus on helping fellow community members who need assistance to cope with the realities of life and people suffering from the natural disaster and other inevitable accident.
Our Objectives
- To cope up with the challenges in the society related to social and community welfare sector.
- To help the people get a quality education and make them aware of the need for quality education in life.
- To help the victim suffered from natural calamities and other community problems.
- To help young people get into the education or give them the correct advice they need to help get into the career they want.
Our Activites
The organization has been working in the sector of social and community services since its establishment. It is working to help the people who are a victim of the flood, landslide, earthquake. It supplied the relief materials to earthquake victim of Kavrepalanchowk- Shanti Ghar and casualty the first aid medicine after the earthquake. It provided the food, clothes to the inhabitants of the Shanti-ghar.
The program benefited 160 families. It also conducted the relief program to the flood victim. Since the establishment it is working in the welfare of community and society, now the organization is focusing on the welfare of education sector. As we know, education is an integral part of human being and quality education is the priority to human beings. The organization is increasing the scope of the field of the social sector.
